The Resource Center for Separating and Divorcing Families (RCSDF) provides legal dispute resolution, therapeutic services, and financial planning to advance solutions for reorganizing families that are separating and divorcing.
This model of an alternative service center, in partnership with the court (but separate from the court system itself), provides families with a less adversarial option to traditional court processes.
We envision The Resource Center for Separating and Divorcing Families (RCSDF) will serve as a training model for graduate and law students at the University of Denver. Students will work under supervision to provide services for families in the process of reorganizing. Services will include: intake/assessment, legal dispute resolution, Early Neutral Assessment (ENA), agreement drafting, education, counseling, and financial planning.
This method will provide multi-disciplinary training for students who plan to pursue careers working with children and families.
