The services offered at the Resource Center for Separating and Divorcing Families are intended to provide couples and families with an approachable and practical way to resolve legal and relational problems related to separation or divorce. The reorganization of a family can be a challenging time of transition, often placing parents and children at risk for emotional and financial hardship. The goal of the RCSDF is to provide out-of-court solutions for families that minimize discord and promote stability for children, parents, and communities.
The RCSDF's services are provided by graduate students from the University of Denver's doctoral psychology and social work programs, and law students from Sturm College of Law. Students working at RCSDF are trained and supervised by a locally licensed attorney, psychologist, and social worker from the Denver Metro area.
