Final Exam Schedules

The final exam schedule has been created to avoid conflicting exams; however, time conflicts are possible. Students should check their final exam schedules early in the term in order to identify possible conflicts. Students are expected to let their instructors know when they have more than one exam being held at the same time. The Office of the Registrar will attempt to resolve conflicts whenever possible.

Faculty or students with questions or concerns regarding final exam schedules may contact the Office of the Registrar at 303.871.4795.

The Office of the Registrar schedules final examinations for classes meeting during standard meeting patterns for the autumn, winter and spring quarters. (See http://www.du.edu/registrar/course/courseproposal.html.) Final exams are also scheduled for certain classes meeting one day per week. Instructors of classes that require a final exam assignment and did not receive one may call Miranda Butler at 14795 to schedule one. Conversely, if a class has been scheduled for a final exam unnecessarily, please let us know so that the assignment can be canceled and the room can be made available.

Final exams are not automatically scheduled for the following classes:

• Classes without room or time assignments
• Classes not meeting full, standard quarter
• Classes in English Language Center, Social Work, Law, Taxation, University College , Women's College
• Classes with these schedule types:
  • Lab
  • Clinical/Practicum
  • Performance
  • Independent Study/Research
  • Recitation/Discussion
  • Off-site
  • Online/Distance
  • Combined/Hybrid Methodologies
  • Internship/Externship/Cooperative Education
  • Directed Study/Research
  • Travel
