The Scheduling/Catalog Coordinator in the Office of the Registrar schedules the use of general academic classrooms and auditoriums for both courses and other departmental sponsored events. For a list of spaces scheduled by the Registrar's Office, see General Academic Space.
TO REQUEST SPACE FOR A COURSE:
Faculty are responsible for turning in room requests for their courses primary meeting space to the appropriate academic departments. A request for pre-assignments and room requirements will be emailed to designated departmental assistants approximately 8 weeks before the start of the upcoming academic term. The Scheduling/Catalog Coordinator cannot take initial room requests directly from instructors; they must come from the departmental room contact. Faculty may fill out the Room Request Form for any additional room needs; including review sessions, make-up meetings, and mass exams.
Departmental Room Contacts should send room requests for courses in writing via inter-campus mail, fax (ext. 14300) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to the Scheduling Coordinator in the Office of the Registrar. Every request should include all of the appropriate information as outlined in the Course Proposal and Class Schedule Instructions.
TO REQUEST SPACE FOR A MEETING, EVENT, COURSE REVIEW SESSION ETC.
The site for submitting space requests for meetings and events has changed. You can now access the new site through webCentral at: https://25live.collegenet.com/du.
Please submit requests at least 7 days prior to the event. Room requests are confirmed in the order received. EVENT REQUESTS ARE CONFIRMED ONLY AFTER ALL ACADEMIC COURSES ARE PLACED FOR THE GIVEN QUARTER, approximately 4-6 weeks before the first day of the quarter.
NOTE: The Scheduling/Catalog Coordinator only reserves space and does not coordinate any ancillary needs (catering, parking, facilities, etc.). Guidelines for planning a departmentally sponsored meeting or event can be found at www.du.edu/eventplanner.
Please contact the Scheduling/Catalog Coordinator at 303-871-4795 or at Miranda.Butler@du.edu with any questions.
