Searching for Common Curriculum and Multidisciplinary Program Courses

The schedule of classes utilizes attributes to identify courses that meet Common Curriculum requirements as well as courses that may be used to meet requirements in multidisciplinary programs such as Judaic Studies or Sustainability. Searching the schedule of classes using the attribute criteria allows students to conduct a search within one, multiple or all subjects simultaneously.

To search by attribute across all subjects

  1. Enter the schedule of classes and select the desired term.
  2. Within the subject box, select the first subject (Accounting).
    • PC users: depress the shift key on your keyboard and scroll to and select the last subject (Writing).
    • Mac users: simultaneously depress the command and shift keys on your keyboard and scroll to and select the last subject (Writing).

Note: all subjects within the box will be highlighted.
  3. Select the desired attribute within the attribute type box at the bottom of the web page.

To search by attribute across multiple subjects

  1. Enter the schedule of classes and select the desired term.
  2. Within the subject box, select the first desired subject.
    • PC users: depress the control key on your keyboard and select additional desired subjects.
    • Mac users: depress the command key on your keyboard and select additional subjects.

Note: selected subjects within the box will be highlighted.
  3. Select the desired attribute within the attribute type box at the bottom of the web page.

Students who entered the University prior to autumn quarter of 2010 will need to search for University Requirements utilizing analogous Common Curriculum attributes (i.e., search using 'Analytical Inquiry: Natural' instead of 'Math/Comp Science Foundations'). Please consult with your academic adviser if you have questions about fulfilling University Requirements.
