Enrollment Verifications

The Registrar's Office can provide written and verbal confirmation of a student's enrollment, grade point average, or degree at the University of Denver. Verifications may be requested by the student, by outside agencies or by individuals. Outside agencies and individuals will only receive directory information unless the student authorizes (by signature) other information (See The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)).

Verification of degrees and enrollments is used as a way to fight fraud and misrepresentation. Our principal goals are to make access to the information timely and assure that the verifications are accurate. Verification of degrees and enrollments is a responsibility we take very seriously.

Because there can be high volumes of urgent requests, the Office of the Registrar cannot always immediately respond to requests from employers and support agencies. As a result, we offer the option of a sometimes quicker and fee- based verification services, provided by National Student Clearinghouse.

In most instances, the verification types below will satisfy the requestor's needs.

Occasionally, agencies require completion of their form. If you should need a third- party form completed or need a different type of verification, DO NOT COMPLETE this process. Instead fax, mail, email, or bring the form in person to the Office of the Registrar.

To request verification, login to PioneerWeb, click myweb tab ->Banner Self-Service ->Student and Financial Aid ->Student Records ->Request Enrollment Verification. Within one to two days after the request is processed, you will receive an email with the verification document attached. You will need to forward the document to the requesting party.
