Online Registration

Use PioneerWeb to register for classes:

  1. Log in using your 9-digit DU ID (beginning with "87") and passcode.
    • If this is the first time you've used PioneerWeb, your passcode will be your date of birth (in MMDDYY format).
    • If you've logged in to myWeb in the past to apply to DU or access your financial aid, use the password you set up then.
  2. Once logged in, click on the myWeb tab on the top, left-hand side of your screen to access the schedule of courses.
    • Select "Student & Financial Aid."
    • Click "Registration."
    • Use the dropdown menu to select the term for which you plan to register. Unless you're a law student (on the semester system), you'll select:
      • Quarter: classes running for about 50 days in winter, spring, summer and autumn
      • Interterm: week- to month-long classes held between quarters
  3. Search for classes.
    • Select the "Subject" dropdown menu, and scroll through to find a course subject.
    • Narrow your results by selecting other parameters (course number, title, number of credit hours, instructor, meeting dates and times, etc.)
    • For basic schedule information, select "Sections Found." Click on the course reference number (CRN) to find more details, such as prerequisites. Find the description in the printed course catalog by selecting "Class Schedule Listing."

  4. Register for classes.
    • Once you've decided which classes you'd like to take, check the box beside the course reference number, then click "Register."
    • Click "submit," and look for the "Web registered" status verification. You'll also see the course under "Current Schedule" on the following page.
    • If there's no box available to check, you won't be able to register for the course. We'll generally provide a reason:
      • C—The course is closed.
      • NR—Registration has either passed or has yet to open for the course.
      • SR— You can't register for this course because of eligibility restrictions , your time assignment or registration holds .
    • If you'd like to bookmark a course and register for it later, select "Add to Worksheet."
  5. Add/drop classes to/from your schedule.
    • Click "Add/Drop Classes" to make changes to your existing schedule.
    • Enter the course reference number (CRN), included within the course description.
    • Submit and wait for the "Web registered" registration verification message.
      • You may receive an error message, such as "closed course" or "approval required." See our registration approval page for information about these situations.

You can print your schedule by returning to the registration page within myWeb.
