Other InformationCritical Incident Notification System (CINS) InformationThe Critical Incident Notification System is designed to send YOU time-sensitive emergency messages in the form or e-mail, voice mail and text messages. In order to receive a text message or voice mail alert, you must provide contact information. Provide CINS Numbers
While participation in the text and voice messaging notification is optional, enrolling is strongly encouraged. Providing Emergency Contact Information Emergency Contacts are contacts such as parents, relatives and/or friends, who should be notified if you are injured or ill and you cannot call them. To provide or update your contact information select View Emergency Contacts on MyWeb. While you are on the Personal Information link, please make sure your addresses are up to date. Select Update Addresses and Phones. Click the word HELP on the Update Address page for additional information on updating your address. If you live in DU residence facilities, your campus address and telephone number is automatically updated. Critical Incident Notification System Disclaimer Only currently enrolled students and current employees will receive notifications from CINS. The University of Denver does not guarantee the successful delivery of any message to any individual recipient, nor does receipt of any message guarantee life safety in the event of an emergency. The CINS will be tested at least three times a year.
