Adult Ice Hockey Leagues

We’re proud to offer two adult hockey leagues per year:

  • fall/winter league—beginning in September with playoffs in April
  • spring/summer league—beginning in mid-April with playoffs in September

Our leagues are for players 18 and older and consist of 14-26 teams divided into multiple divisions based on skill and experience. Each division hosts its own playoffs at the end of the season.

Anticipated spring/summer divisions

  • recreational (low C/D, mid C)
  • competitive (mid/high C, B)
  • elite (A by invitation only)

League games are held in Joy Burns Arena and Magness Arena, the home of DU’s nationally-ranked varsity hockey team. Games include two Colorado Ice Hockey Referee Association officials and a game scorekeeper and/or supervisor.

Registration is now a two-step process for team captains to complete:

  1. Captains must register their team online, and pay deposit.
  2. Captains must then create their team in IMLeagues, and invite their roster to join.

Each member of the team must register with IMLeagues.

Fall/winter league: September 22 - April 19

Fall/winter league

  • $6,000/team
  • includes 18-week season plus at least one playoff game

Players must be 18 years or older.
