In 2009, the parent advisory committee (PAC) was developed to assist with the continued success of our program.
The parent advisory committee represents each age group and includes up to seven members. All members must be the parent/guardian of a child in the Jr. Pioneers Hockey program and are expected to participate for a minimum of one year.
Each April, a new committee year begins, following an interest email to the association in March. All parents are invited to interview for a committee position and review the parent advisory committee bylaws.
The parent advisory committee works with the assistant director of programming and the manager of youth hockey operations to review various opportunities and challenges within Jr. Pioneers Hockey.
The advisory committee is not a decision-making entity, but rather makes recommendations and provides solutions on how we can best improve our program.
