Spring Elite

The Jr. Pioneers Hockey Spring Elite program offers a competitive, off-season development environment for players to elevate their level of play in preparation for the following season. Players selected will develop hockey skills, game strategy, team systems knowledge and athletic training.

Spring Elite hockey is open to players of all ages and from any hockey association.

The 2015 Spring Elite program will have teams at the 1999 through 2006 birth years, as well as a U8 travel and development teams. Each team will have a maximum of 24 players—17 on the tournament roster and seven on the practice roster. Each team will have a maximum of 12 forwards, eight defensemen and four goaltenders. There will be a Major team and a Minor team at the U10 and U12 levels and only a Major team at the U14 and U16 levels. The Major teams will travel to the tournament and the Minor teams may have an opportunity to travel as well, but is not a certainty. There will also be U8 development teams.
