Information & Technology Technology 21 is a three course sequence designed to provide students with an awareness of the technological challenges of the twenty-first century and an understanding of the scientific principles upon which the technology is based. The first quarter begins with a review of numeracy, the language of science and technology. The course explores our dependency on energy; the amount we consume is staggering and most comes from non-renewable fossil fuels. The second and third quarters are concerned with information technology and the relation between technology and global issues.
