Computed Radiology The PACS system is designed to allow clinical physicians to evaluate patient x-rays before and during ICU rounds and confer with radiologists who have access to the same images in the Radiology department. The system is fully redundant with two reading stations on each ICU floor and two Computed Radiography (CR) scanners available in the ICU.
