Radiology Information System (RIS) The Radiology Information System (RIS) consists of a DEC PDP11 computer, two mirrored 80 megabyte disks, 16 CRT stations, and 8 printers. The system registers and stores radiology studies on sixty thousand patients and generates department billing and financial information.
