Dr. Voyles is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Denver and a Senior Member of the IEEE. He was at the University of Minnesota from 1997-2006 and is a founding Site Director of the NSF Safety, Security, and Rescue Research Center, an NSF I/UCRC. Dr. Voyles' industrial experience includes IBM Corp., Integrated Systems, Inc., and Avanti Optics Corp. He has founded two companies, Mark V Automation Corp. and Blue Sphynx Silicon Corp. He co-founded another in addition to serving on the advisory boards of various organizations, both for-profit and non-profit.
