    Research Interests

    Dr. Ali N. Azadani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical & Materials Engineering.  Dr. Azadani's research interest encompasses cardiovascular mechanics, heart valve engineering, and biomechanics of trauma.  He is also the director of the Cardiac Biomechanics Laboratory at the University of Denver.  The laboratory is focused on applied and translational research in cardiovascular diseases to develop new therapeutic and diagnostic devices.
