Internships

Industry Day - Friday, October 3, 2014

The Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science hosts an annual Industry Day; a lunch/networking event that gives our students an opportunity to network with industry professionals and learn about available internships or other employment opportunities. This event also gives companies an opportunity to learn more about our degree programs, learn about our past and current undergraduate and graduate research, meet our faculty, and provide input on what organizations are looking for in their future employees.

What is Industry Day?
• Bridges the gap between the concepts we learn in academia to the reality of the workplace.
• A platform to help students prepare for what lies ahead in engineering and computer science.
• An opportunity for students to meet leaders in the industries of engineering and computer science.
• An opportunity for companies to meet with over 200 Undergraduate and Graduate Students seeking internships and employment in engineering and computer science.

We offer resume development workshops for our students prior to the event and distribute their submitted resumes to the companies attending.

Internship and Job Opportunity Postings

Internship and Job Opportunity Postings can be found on the Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science's Facebook page.  These postings are added as we receive them.

Career Services receives notices about summer job openings and summer internships. Information regarding those jobs and internships are forwarded to the engineering departments and are posted on the Ritchie School Facebook page, as well.
