How long does it take to start a new contract with the
Applied Research and Technology Institute?
The average turnaround time is 2-3 weeks to begin work on a new
contract. However, we work with clients based on their needs
and have have the flexibility to modify the timeline as needed.

What is the explosives limit?
Limits vary pending application of use. Generally, we have
a limit of 2 lb. of explosive per shot above
ground. There are multiple factors taken into

Is the range open to the public?
Based on the contracts and security clearances required, we are
not open to the general public at all times. We do work
with individuals and groups wanting to learn more about
our research and on-site equipment.
What level of classified work is the Applied
Research and Technology Institute capable of performing?
Currently, we are capable of classified research to the
level of secret, but capable of going to top secret.
