Discoveries is designed to assist first-year and transfer students make the best possible start to their experience at the University of Denver.

Discoveries promotes your academic achievement and personal development by preparing you for the challenges and experiences that lie ahead. Through workshops, small group meetings, computer classes, presentations, and discussion sessions, you will be introduced to resources and community standards of the University.

Social activities scheduled in the evenings offer you the chance to get to know your fellow students and sample the variety of extra-curricular opportunities available at the University of Denver. Additionally, you will learn about the academic advising resources, Foundations requirements, meet with advisors and register for your fall quarter courses. We look forward to welcoming you as a member of our community.
