Filing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online is the first step in the financial aid process for Four Corners MSW students. Both two-year and advanced standing students in the Four Corners program begin their course of study in the summer quarter. This means that you will need to file two FAFSAs--one for the summer quarter in which you begin the program, and one for the academic year that starts in the fall.

Student loans

The University of Denver's Office of Financial Aid awards and administers student loans for Four Corners students. These loans include:

Title IV-E Child Welfare stipends:

If you are a Four Corners student who intends to work in public child welfare in Colorado after you graduate, you may be eligible for a Title IV-E Child Welfare stipends of $14,000-$17,000. These stipends are awarded to concentration year students and students with advanced standing. Stipend recipients agree to work in public child welfare in Colorado one year for each year they receive the stipend. For more information, please visit the Butler Institute for Families Web site.
