Cost of Attendance
A professional social work education requires financial investment. Fortunately, more than 95 percent of our students receive scholarships, grants or stipends.
Many students pay for their education with a combination of scholarships, grants, work-study and student loans, as well as part-time work outside the school.
If you have questions about expenses or financial aid, please contact the GSSW Office of Admission.
Graduate school expenses
Below is a breakdown of expenses for full-time graduate students at the University of Denver for the 2013-2014 academic year (fall, winter and spring quarters). Part-time students pay $1,104 per credit hour.
Advanced standing students and others who take classes in the summer will be responsible for tuition and expenses for summer quarter. They must file both a 2013 and a 2014 FAFSA to be considered for need-based aid, including loans. A separate budget for summer quarter will be established.
