Doctoral student financial aid
Doctoral admission applications submitted by February 1 receive optimal consideration for financial aid.
Financial aid available to doctoral students includes:
- Teaching and research assistantships that include a full tuition waiver, plus a $13,000 stipend.
- Fellowships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 per year for students enrolled in a minimum of 8 credit hours per quarter.
- Loans including Stafford Loans as well as private loans. Filing the FAFSA online is the first step in the financial aid process and is required if you want to be considered for student loans. The FAFSA become available online on January 1 of each year. The institutional code for the University of Denver is 001371.
