April Guy

An international internship is an exciting prospect for any student. But dual-depgree graduate April Guy (MSW '07, MA '07) took things one step further, creating a micro-enterprise program that made it possible for 30 Kenyan girls to attend high school.

To get a real sense of GSSW's welcoming atmosphere and beautiful setting, please visit us in person. You can meet our faculty, staff and students, tour our campus and state-of-the-art facility, and learn more about the ways our programs can be tailored to meet your interests and goals.

We offer regularly scheduled information sessions, and we're happy to schedule a time to meet with you individually.

Prospective MSW students

If you are a prospective MSW student who has not yet been admitted to GSSW, you are invited to attend an Information Session to:

  • learn more about our MSW program
  • meet and talk with our dean, faculty, staff and students
  • learn about our rich and varied network of field internship opportunities
  • get information about the admission process and financial aid opportunities

(Note: These sessions are specifically geared toward MSW students who haven't been admitted yet. If you have already been admitted to the MSW program, you'll be invited to an admitted student event in April.)

Prospective doctoral students

Prospective PhD students should contact Prof. Walter LaMendola, doctoral director, to schedule a visit to the campus.
