  • June 11, 2014: "Speak Up - It's the Law," a one-day conference presented by the City and County of Denver, Denver District Attorney and Colorado Dept. of Human Services, co-sponsored by GSSW and others; 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Sturm College of Law on the DU campus. The conference will help professionals understand their responsibilities and liability under Colorado Senate Bill 111 that mandates reporting of suspected elder abuse beginning July 2014. There is no fee to attend; breakfast and lunch are included. Information & Registration.
