  • January 27, 2017: Lecture by American philosopher Martha Nussbaum, PhD; co-hosted by GSSW's Institute for Human-Animal Connection and the Josef Korbel School of International Studies. Nussbaum is the current Ernst Freund Distinguished Service Professor of Law and Ethics at the University of Chicago, a chair that includes appointments in the philosophy department and the law school.
