Prof. William Cloud has co-authored three books on "natural recovery" from addiction. Currently, he is also evaluating the effectiveness of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HOPE VI public housing revitalization project. At GSSW, he teaches courses in research, social welfare policy, mental health and drug policy, and drug dependency interventions. Prof. Cloud is co-founder of GSSW's Bridge Project, an educational outreach program aimed at breaking the cycle of poverty for children and families in three of Denver's public housing neighborhoods.
