Prof. Lynn Parker is a clinical social work practitioner, family therapist, researcher, educator and author. A direct practice specialist with more than 30 years of experience, she studied with nearly all the founders of the family therapy field. Her book, Transformative Family Therapy: Just Families in a Just Society, was published in 2008.
Prof. Parker provides AAMFT approved clinical supervision and is a faculty member at the Denver Family Institute. At GSSW, she is convener of the Families Track and program coordinator of the Certificate in Couples and Family Therapy. She teaches a wide range of clinical social work courses and a course on global relations and poverty in Mexico.
