PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
A community practice specialist, Associate Professor Daniel Brisson has focused his research and scholarship on community development issues in low-income neighborhoods.
He currently is working on the Annie E. Casey Foundation's national Making Connections initiative, specifically on capacity-building among residents of Denver neighborhoods. The project is aimed at strengthening both communities and the families within them.
Brisson teaches community practice, research and evaluation courses at GSSW.
