Associate Professor of the Practice of Social Work Wanda Ellingson is site director for the Four Corners MSW Program in Durango, Colorado, where she also teaches foundation and concentration seminar classes. She has more than 25 years of experience in both clinical and community social work practice.
Formerly the assistant director of a private, nonprofit mental health agency, Ellingson continues to provide medical social work services in the community, presents workshops and training sessions, and provides consultation to agencies.
Ellingson was chosen as the 2006 Social Worker of the Year by the Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.
