DENVER—The University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work (GSSW) is pleased to announce that Dean and Milton Morris Endowed Chair James Herbert Williams has been elected to a three-year term as president of the Board of the National Association of Deans and Directors of Schools of Social Work (NADD).

The election took place at the NADD annual spring conference held in Laguna Beach, Calif., in April.

Founded in 1986, NADD is a volunteer membership organization dedicated to promoting excellence in social work education. Its members include more than 200 deans, directors and chairpersons of graduate social work programs throughout the United States and Canada.

Williams has been GSSW dean since 2007. In July 2010, Chancellor Robert Coombe named Williams to a five-year term as DU's inaugural Milton Morris Endowed Chair.
