Continuing Professional Development Summer Series

GSSW's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Summer Series offers workshops during June and July at Craig Hall on the University of Denver campus. The workshops, which are open to the public, are geared towards human service professionals seeking to strengthen and enhance their professional knowledge and repertoire of skills. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available, and courses will be recorded on official University of Denver transcripts.

Snacks will be available, but lunch will not be provided for any workshop.  Day-long workshops will include a break for lunch in which attendees can visit any of the local restaurants.

  • In the registration system, if you have a DU ID number and password already, you can log in with your DU/Banner ID and password.

    If you have every worked or taken a course at DU, you have a Banner/ID number.  If you have one but do not know what it is, please call the Registrar's Office at 303-871-2284.

    Default passwords are typically set as your six digit birth date (mmddyy). If you do not know your password, you can call University Technology Services at 303-871-4700.

    If you have never applied or taken classes at DU or do not have a DU ID number, you will be prompted to create a new account after selecting your course(s) and attempting to register.  Proceed to next steps.
  • If you have your DU ID and password, you can log in here (right side of the screen) or wait until you have selected your courses.
  • Under "Are you ready to search for classes," select Continuing Ed from the drop-down menu and click on the magnifying glass.

  • From the course listing on the left, click the magnifying glass to see the complete course description. Drag and drop the course of choice to the calendar, or click the plus sign to add it to your schedule.

  • Click on the "Register" button in the lower right corner of the calendar.

  • If you do not have a DU ID number, you will need to provide additional information at this time.  Click "Create New Account," and input the required information .  If the system will not allow you to create an account, please call the GSSW Program Coordinator at 303-871-3615.

  • Click Proceed to Payment and then Submit Payment.

    Your browser will attempt to pull up the payment information in a separate window.  If your browser is set so that pop-ups are disabled, you must tell it to allow this particular pop-up to proceed. Typically, a warning will appear along the top of the browser asking if you wish to allow the pop-up window.

  • Follow the on-screen instructions on the secure payment site.
