GSSW offers you an MSW education tailored to your interests, your schedule and your professional goals.

Choose your specialty

In your concentration year, you will have the opportunity to specialize  in community practice or one of four clinical practice tracks: child welfare, families, high-risk youth, or adulthood and late life challenges.

You can shape any of the tracks to your professional goals by selecting from our many elective courses. And you can combine any track with one of four innovative certificate programs. The University's interdisciplinary dual or cooperative graduate degree programs multiply your options still further.

Choose your internships

Field internship options are also plentiful, with 600 field placement sites from which to choose. Unlike many MSW programs, GSSW allows you to interview agencies and choose an internship site that is just right for you.

Choose your schedule

Too busy with professional and family commitments to attend graduate school full time? We have part-time, evening and weekend scheduling options to accommodate your needs.

Start your career

Even in today's volatile economy, the flexibility of a social work degree gives you an almost unlimited variety of career options. Our graduates are making their mark in every facet of clinical and community practice, many in fields they never considered before attending GSSW.

You can prepare for that social work career you've always wanted, or you can follow a completely unexpected path. The choice is yours with a degree from GSSW.
