The Graduate School of Social Work celebrated the 40th Anniversary of its Doctoral Program by hosting a seminar entitled "Answering the Carnegie Initiative Call to Action: Rethinking Social Work Doctoral Education" on Saturday, May 2nd, 2009. This all-day event included presentations by three national scholars, discussions led by former GSSW Doctoral Directors and GSSW's first Notable Scholar Award.
