GSSW faculty and students are conducting a wide variety of research, training and technical assistance projects affecting individuals, families and communities around the world.
GSSW research:
- provides vital information to national and state policy makers
- promotes effective social work practice
- enriches learning among GSSW students, as faculty members bring their expertise into the classroom
- supports students through opportunities to serve as research assistants
Additionally, GSSW's three institutes provide in-depth research and training in child welfare, gerontology and animal-assisted social work.
