Mentoring Program
Would you like to serve as a mentor for a concentration year or advanced standing MSW student?
The GSSW Mentoring Program is focused on creating social work leaders equipped to thrive within the complexities of the social work profession today. Our objective is to merge the experiences inside and outside of the classroom in order to help students make the transition from an academic environment to the world of work. The goals of the mentoring program include:
- Helping students enhance their social work knowledge
- Assisting students with career goals
- Helping students build their professional networks
- Enabling students to engage a neutral "sounding board"
All prospective mentors are asked to attend an orientation session at Craig Hall, 2148 S. High St. in Denver (please check back for updated information and 2009 orientation dates).
To obtain an information packet and application, please contact Richard Bishop.
