"Several years ago, I endowed the Youlon D. Savage Scholarship Fund to increase the
amount of financial aid available to African American MSW students. Since then, the
additional funds generated by this gift have made it possible for young men and women
to achieve their educational goals and have a positive impact on their communities.
It gives me great pleasure to support the institution that made it possible for me
to support that institution. I wholeheartedly encourage my professional colleagues
to join me in this much-needed effort to build GSSW's endowed scholarship funding."
