DU Drink Safe CampaignCasino Night 2006

The DU Drink Safe Campaign is a joint effort between the All Undergraduate Student Association (AUSA), Citizenship and Community Standards, the Health and Counseling Center, and Gender Violence Education and Support Services. The intention of the campaign is to educate students on alcohol issues including code of conduct violations, alcohol poisening, and sexual assault.

Current components of this campaign include the Drink Safe Drinks coasters, the Mocktails program, and a Don't Cancel That Class session. We have a strong focus on stress reduction to help students understand that alcohol and other drugs are not effective ways to manage stress. Often, students can use these things to feel better about the level of stress in there lives. However, there are other ways to relieve that stress. The Mocktails program in particular, introduces students to fun and novel ways to de-stress including beer-less pong and Wii fitness games.
