Upcoming
Events:
This upcoming year at DU, Men as Allies is partnering with the Rape Assistance and Awareness Program and Sheridan High School to launch the Men as Allies High School Training Program. We are seeking 6 college men to attend a 2 day training on sexual assault, gender violence, and how to present to others on the issue. Once trained, these Men as Allies will visit Sheridan High School to present a 3 hour curriculum to high school men. It is hoped that this new training program will assist in creating attitudinal change in young men before they come to college. If you are interested in participating in this pilot program, then please contact Lisa Ingarfield, 303-871-3853. Training is scheduled to be held in September with high school visits beginning in October.
If you are interested in participating in this group, please
email Lisa Ingarfield for information! |
