About Me
I graduated from Ball State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in English and Professional Writing. After graduation, I served on multiple advisory boards for my national sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, for three years. I later took a short-term position as an admissions counselor for Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and began my career in higher education.
I pursued a Masters of Higher Education Administration at the University of Denver. During my masters program, I worked in the Office of Admissions, but found my passion in the Office of Campus Activities. As a graduate assistant, I served as the advisor to the Panhellenic Council, Interfraternity Council, and various leadership retreats and events related to Greek life. I also co-authored the book, Campus Conversation: A Book of Questions for College Students. Upon graduating in June 2004, I accepted a position as a Greek Life Coordinator at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.
In July 2005, I moved back to Denver and began my current position at DU as an Assistant Director of Campus Activities. In this position, I am responsible for the governing councils, chapter operations, Greek housing, leadership opportunities, judicial sanctioning, and serving as a liaison between the University, Greek alumnae, and Greek Inter/National organizations. Additionally, I have participated in the Interfraternity Institute, and have served as a facilitator for the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute.
I live in Denver with my husband and our cat and dog. I enjoy cooking, reading, and reconnecting with friends whenever possible.
