Parking Services

Depending on the nature of your event, you might consider providing parking for your vendors, presenters, or community partners while they’re on campus. Even if you have minimal parking needs, we recommend that you always notify Parking Services of your event. This cooperation ensures that there is adequate parking on campus for many events that may occur on the same day.

To request parking permits or to submit notification to Parking Services, use the Parking Request Form.

You have two options for parking permits:

  1. PDF: Parking Services will send you a PDF permit, which you will distribute to your guests to scan upon entering a specific closed lot. Your guests will then display the PDF on their dashboard for the remainder of their stay.
  2. Event Code: Parking Services will send you a code for your guests to use upon parking. Your guests will need to go to a parking kiosk and follow the step-by-step instructions prompted by the kiosk. They will have to input the time they need for parking (i.e. 3 hours) and the code. The final cost is calculated from the total amount of time tracked by the use of the code. Your organization will be charged after the event.

You can also hire an attendant for your event, either to verify PDF permits or accept cash for parking. This is recommended for large events. Do so by completing the above form, and including your desire for an attendant in the comments section.

If you are bringing a vendor to campus that needs to park on the sidewalks, such as a food truck, you will need to obtain a Brick Paver Permit.

ProTip: Lots Q, W, and H1 become general lots between 4:00PM and 6:00AM. Students with general permits or night/weekend permits can park there for free during those times.

CANCELLATIONS

If your event is cancelled after you’ve requested parking permits, make sure you notify Parking Services of the cancellation as soon as possible. Cancellation fees may apply for late-notice cancellations or if a parking attendant has been hired. To cancel your event with Parking Services, contact:
