Besides tuition, some organizations charge fees to arrange work permits and housing for programs that link internships with study abroad programs. To offset this, DU students should check to see if they could receive credit at DU for their classes and/or internship. In many cases, the tuition for study abroad programs is less than tuition at DU. Of course you should obtain written approval that your credits will transfer back to DU before you go abroad. Your single best resource to find a study abroad experience which includes an experiential component such as an internship or volunteer experience is the Study Abroad Office at the University of Denver.
