Military to Medics - Minnesota Ambulance Association's Paramedic Apprenticeship Program. Each day in Minnesota the EMS system is running short of the necessary staff to maintain full operations. Minnesota is home to several hundred medically trained military personnel with skills that make them ideal for jobs in pre-hospital medicine. The challenge is matching them with opportunities and resources in the civilian medical field. The EMS Apprenticeship program will bridge the gap by providing Veterans with apprenticeship and educational opportunities allowing them to fill the need for EMS personnel in Minnesota.
