Project Eye-to-Eye: Becoming a Mentor

What Does a Project Eye-to-Eye Coordinator or Mentor Do?
The two coordinators are responsible for the daily operation of the program, outreach, recruit for new mentors and students to mentor, as well as other related activities. Mentors are matched with one child to show them what they have learned from having LD or ADHD themselves.

Is this a Paid Position? What is the Time Commitment?
The student coordinator positions are paid a $2000 stipend for the year!  Coordinators work approximately 7-8 hours per week.  Mentors volunteer 2.5 hours per week and need to be able to commit to working with their child for the full school year.

How Do I Apply to be a Coordinator or Mentor?
To apply to be either a Project Eye-to-Eye Coordinator or Mentor, please complete the Project Eye-to-Eye Online Application.

Online applications for the mentor positions will be accepted throughout the year.  For more information, please contact Nathaniel Ellison at: nellison@du.edu
