Matthew has been teaching writing and literature classes at DU for the past five years.  He is the Learning Coordinator for Writing in the LEP and an instructor in DU’s Writing Program.  In addition to his teaching and tutoring, Matthew is writing his dissertation on the influences of Literary Naturalism and Modernism on the novels of Cormac McCarthy.

Outside of his professional life, Matthew enjoys playing music, bicycling, training in Krav Maga, and blogging.
