The following is a list of organizations that provide information about and resources for a variety of learning disabilities.

Learning Disability Association of America (LDA) offers a comprehensive overview of learning disabilities, research, strategies, and more.

Learning Disability Association of Colorado (LDAC) is located here at DU. The LEP has entered into a partnership with the LDAC in order to share research and engage students in advocacy issues.

Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA) provides information about and resources for ADHD.

The IRIS Center for Faculty Enhancement provides resources for college and university faculty and professional development providers about students with disabilities.

LD Online offers information about specific written expression learning disabilities and guidelines/suggestions for teaching writing in the classroom.

Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) focuses on college-aged students with learning disabilities.

The Faculty Room offers faculty and administrators at post-secondary institutions suggestions on creating classroom environments that include students with disabilities.

American Educational Research Association focuses on improving the educational process by encouraging scholarly research regarding education and then by making the results available for practice.

American Institutes for Research (AIR): The goal of AIR is to use the best science available to bring the most effective ideas and approaches to enhancing everyday life.

Clinical Center for the Study of Development and Learning, University of North Carolina (CDL): The CDL provides clinical services, training and technical assistance, research, and educational programs for professionals.

Instant Access Treasure Chest: The Foreign Language Department at Virginia Commonwealth University has developed a treasure chest of valuable information for teaching strategies. Focusing on LD, the site contains many categorized articles useful to teachers in any classroom.
