Events for Parents and Families
Several events are planned for parent and family involvement throughout the year.
Summer Sendoffs
Sendoffs are a great opportunity for incoming students and their families to connect with each other before orientation. Current families host these receptions over the summer. DU staff, current students and parents attend to answer questions and concerns and to share what they love most about DU.

Homecoming & Family Weekend will be October 25th & 26th, 2013
Students, parents, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of DU are invited to reconnect and celebrate Homecoming & Family Weekend in October. Plan to join us for Parent and Family Information Sessions, Coffee with the Chancellor, Taste of DU, and much more!
Moms & Dads Weekends
On alternating years, Moms & Grandmoms and Dads & Granddads Weekends provide families the opportunity to spend time with their student while becoming more familiar with the University and enjoying our city and state.
Activities include Pioneer Sports, lectures, and tours of the DU carillon.

Parking On Campus
The University of Denver is an urban campus and parking is limited. Please plan sufficient time to find parking in General or Visitor parking lots prior to events. Parking fees are $1.50/hr in most parking lots. Visit Parking & Transportation for maps and information.
