September: Orientation

Transitioning into college is one of the most exciting times of your student's life. It can be both thrilling and challenging.

During Parent and Family Orientation, several presentations and resources are available to help families learn about academic policies and requirements, and how to support their student's academic, physical, and emotional health. October: Homecoming

Once a Pioneer, always a Pioneer. Alumni, current students, parents, and DU community members are invited to connect and celebrate Homecoming & Family Weekend in October. Events this year included Book Chat at the Book Stack, Chopp Talk, Hockey, Pio-Palooza, Taste of DU, and Parent Panel on Studying Abroad. Information and contact info can be found at 

February: Parents Weekend

Our next Parents Weekend will be February 24-25, 2017. Events will include Pioneer Hockey, Canvas and Mocktails, a local hike, campus tours, chocolate tasting, educational sessions and more! The schedule and registration will be available in mid December right here on this page.

June: Commencement
