Living at the University of Denver

To assist new undergraduate students in making the transition to independent living and to promote the academic success of our residents, the University of Denver has a two-year live-in requirement for students under the age of 21. We are proud to be actively building new facilities and offer a range of options from traditional residence halls for first-year students to furnished and unfurnished suites and apartments for upper division and graduate/professional students. More than 200 student and professional staff members work together to maintain our facilities, provide services, conduct educational and social programs, and provide a safe environment where our residents can succeed.

Some students may wish to join one of our many active Greek organizations. Students may pledge to a Greek house in the spring of their first year and in some cases may move in to the Greek house in their second year. Many of our Greek chapters are actively fundraising and will soon have facilities.

For students needing a place to live off-campus, the University of Denver neighborhood offers a wealth of apartment, townhome, and house rentals.
