Conduct administrators may recommend that students utilize counseling services to help address any emotional or mental health challenges that they may be dealing with. Although this is not a requirement, this recommendation will remain in one's student conduct file. If a student chooses to follow this recommendation, in order to notify Student Conduct that the student is following this recommendation, the student must sign a release of information. The form is available online at www.du.edu/studentlife/studentconduct/release.pdf. The student should bring it to their first session. The content of your sessions will remain confidential, and Student Conduct will only be notified that you attended a counseling session.

Students who commit frequent and/or severe violations may be advised that any further violation of any Student Conduct Policy or Residential Living policies will result in that student being put on Student Conduct Probation for a minimum of one quarter.
