Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Committee
Mission
Our committee seeks to improve waste practices on campus by addressing recycling, composting, and electronic recycling. The committee also seeks to limit the amount of waste generated by different entities on campus. Currently the committee is working to create campus wide bin parity, improve the composting program, and the education around waste disposal within the DU Community. The RRR Committee also started the Zero Waste Hockey Pilot Program in the 2012-2013 season. The committee plans to expand the model within the Ritchie Center to other events on campus.
